One Missouri product was selected during the final round of the NFL Draft while a handful of others signed free agent deals with pro teams immediately afterward.
The New England Patriots drafted ÁńÁ«ĘÓƵ offensive tackle Marcus Bryant in the seventh round with the 220th overall pick.
Bryant transferred from Southern Methodist to MU for his final season of college football. He started at left tackle for the Tigers, allowing 22 pressures and five sacks in 439 pass blocking snaps.
And in reported undrafted free agent deals:
- Quarterback Brady Cook signed with the New York Jets, per the NFL Network.
- Wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. signed with the Miami Dolphins, the Kansas City Star first reported.
- Defensive end Johnny Walker Jr. signed with the Denver Broncos, the Denver Post reported.Â
- Running back Nate Noel also signed with the Dolphins, per KPRC-TV.

Cook, a Chaminade product who fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming MU’s starting quarterback, held down that role for three seasons. In 2024, he completed 62.6% of his passes, throwing for 2,535 yards and 11 scores. Cook battled injuries to his ankle and throwing wrist to stay on the field for the Tigers. His best season came in 2023 when he threw for 3,317 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Through the air and with his own legs, Cook accounted for 10,222 yards of total offense over the course of his Missouri career. He finished with 26 wins, second in program history to only Chase Daniel.
Wease transferred to Mizzou after starting his career at Oklahoma. He caught 60 passes for 884 yards and four touchdowns in 2024, leading the Tigers in receiving. Across five seasons of action, Wease finished with 2,610 career receiving yards and 20 scores.
Walker enrolled at Mizzou as an undersized outside linebacker but left as the program’s best pass-rusher of the 2024 season, when he posted 9.5 sacks — including sacks in seven consecutive games. He was named the defensive MVP of the Tigers’ 2023 Cotton Bowl victory over Ohio State.
Noel transferred from Appalachian State to MU ahead of the 2024 season and finished as the Tigers' leading rusher with 818 yards and three touchdowns.
Earlier in the draft, the Jets drafted right tackle Armand Membou with the seventh overall pick. The Chicago Bears selected wide receiver Luther Burden III with the No. 39 pick.
