Forecasters originally called for the crest around 31 feet in Valley Park, but they dialed that back.

A National Weather Service meteorologist said heavy rainfall last week was unusual but the flooding along the Meramec is "kind of a normal-ish flood" for the spring.
The National Weather Service predicts three to six inches of rain from Friday through the end of Saturday.
"We could be planning funerals today. Today, we're just planning to rebuild," said the father of one homeowner hit by storm. "It will all be ok. ... We're all upright. We're all above dirt."
Forecasters warn that St. Louis is in for another period of active weather, with risks from wind, hail and tornadoes all possible on Sunday.
Meteorologists and former National Weather Service leaders say reducing vital weather balloon launches will degrade the accuracy of forecasts just as severe weather season kicks in.
National Weather Service employees are still confirming reports of damage and tracking the paths of the storms.
The storm hit Bridgeton and Arnold with wind gusts up to 135 mph.
"Shelters have opened their doors, and people are stepping up to help however they can. The ‘Show-Me’ spirit is alive and strong in the face of this disaster."
The most fatalities as of Saturday morning were in Missouri, authorities said, with at least 12 deaths.
Thunderstorms are forecast to hit the St. Louis metro region by 7 p.m. They may carry golf-ball-sized hail and tornadoes as strong as EF2.
The City of St. Louis has an ordinance requiring sidewalk snow removal, but that hasn't prevented sidewalks from being hazardous or impassable for a big chunk of 2025.
Snow becomes “likely, mainly after 3 p.m.,” Tuesday and continuing into early Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
