Down to two outs in the ninth inning in a tied game, Cardinals first baseman Alec Burleson belted a solo home run to lift St. Louis to a 7-6 walk-off win over the Pirates.
The Cardinals overcame a 4-1 deficit with a five-run inning, saw Willson Contreras and manager Oli Marmol get ejected, and received a walk-off homer from Alec Burleson.
The 2026 regular-season schedule has the Cardinals with two lengthy road trips to finish the year, no holidays at home and only 21 games at Busch after Aug. 1.Â
