Justin Timberlake Reveals He Has Lyme Disease
Justin Timberlake has announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, sharing the news in a post marking the end of his 'Forget Tomorrow’ tour, which concluded in Turkey. Calling the illness “relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically,†Timberlake said he nearly canceled the tour but chose to continue performing because of the joy it brought him. The ‘SexyBack’ singer described himself as private but said he was grateful for pushing through.  “I honestly don’t know what my future is onstage, but I’ll always cherish this run,†he wrote, thanking his wife, Jessica Biel, and their sons for their support. Timberlake had postponed and canceled several shows during the tour due to health issues, including bronchitis, laryngitis, and the flu. Six US shows were moved from late 2024 to early 2025, and the final US concert in Ohio was canceled. Lyme disease, spread by black-legged (deer) ticks, can cause flu-like symptoms, neurological issues, and joint pain. It's usually treatable with antibiotics, but some experience lingering effects. In 2024, Timberlake pleaded guilty to impaired driving in New York and later issued a public safety message urging others not to drive under the influence.
