St. Louis County police officers fire shots at fleeing motorist in May 2024
Video from a St. Louis County police officer's body camera shows officers chase and fire shots at a fleeing motorist May 18, 2024, at an illegal stunt-driving gathering in the 11200 block of New Halls Ferry Road. An officer said the Charger ran over his foot and hit other vehicles.
Officers fired nine shots at the car, then chased and tackled the driver to make an arrest. The driver, Antwon Hunter, suffered eye injuries when he was hit from flying glass. Hunter was charged with attempted assault, armed criminal action and resisting arrest. The Post-Dispatch edited .
