An injury made the QB battle anticlimactic, but Beau Pribula still showed a lot in his first start with his new team.
“To be a good offense, you’ve got to be able to spread the ball around,” Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said.
Quarterback Beau Pribula dazzled both with his arms and legs. Running back Ahmad Hardy demonstrated why expectations are so high, and several receivers showed they are ready for prime time.
Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said the team would know more about injuries to quarterback Sam Horn and kicker Blake Craig on Friday.
Horn appeared to hurt his ankle after running the ball in the first half of Thursday's game against Central Arkansas.
Save for an injury that decided Missouri's quarterback competition early on, the Tigers' 2025 season opener was a mostly smooth ride.
