Openings
Chipotle Mexican Grill, 8270 Old Highway N, Lake St Louis, MO 63367: This location is open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. It also features a drive-thru pick-up lane for customers who’ve ordered online.
Dave’s Hot Chicken, 7304 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield, MO 63005: With brand investors like rapper Drake, actor Samuel L. Jackson and retired NFL player Michael Strahan, Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to open seven locations across St. Louis in the next few years.
Fordo’s Killer Pizza, 4465 Manchester Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110: This pizza concept is now open at Urban Chestnut Brewery in the Grove neighborhood, selling all kinds of pies from marinara, Margherita, four cheese, beef sausage, Hawaiian, wild mushroom and pepperoni. Behind the pizza place is James Beard winner chef Gerard Craft.

Garden Variety Deli, 3131 Morgan Ford Road, St. Louis, MO 63116:Â Over a year after its planned opening, this sandwich spot is now welcoming customers. All sandwiches are served on fresh focaccia bread.
Outpost Coffee [& Bricks], 4632 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63108: Outpost Coffee is located in Central West End’s new Bel Air Social Club. The business serves Goshen Coffee and has Lego sets to rent.
Pierce Creek, 10405 Old Olive Street Road, Creve Coeur, MO 63141: Pierce Creek is a butcher and restaurant located in the former Kohn’s Kosher Deli space. They serve smash burgers, sandwiches and tallow fries.
The Quarter Butcher, 7439 State Route N, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368:Â The Quarter Butcher is a family-owned butcher shop that focuses on locally sourced meat.
Save A Lot y Mas, 9430 Midland Boulevard, Overland, MO 63114:Â Save A Lot y Mas is a new concept from the discount grocer that aims to serve Hispanic consumers through Spanish-language signage and curated inventory with Hispanic brands.
The Wonder Shop, 4915 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109:Â The Wonder Shop is an extension of Charm Me Sweet candy store. The new store sells toys, gifts and books.
Closings
El Toluco Taqueria & Grocery, 14234 Manchester Road, Manchester, MO 63011: El Toluco appeared on the Post-Dispatch’s Ian Froeb’s Top 100 list in 2018, 2019 and 2020. It was open for nine years.
Exotic Smokes #2, 5441 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109:Â The city closed this smoke shop after a warrant-led search. The business claims that it only sells hemp products and is being targeted based on assumptions, not facts.
Fazoli’s, 807 Lee Avenue, Festus, MO 63028: This Italian restaurant chain closed its Festus location this month. Locations are open in Arnold, Bridgeton, O’Fallon, Missouri and Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Momo Coffee Champagne Kitchen, 9500 Manchester Road, Rock Hill, MO 63119:Â Momo is known for its cocktails and champagne brunches. The owners also operate The Mud House and Hangar Kitchen + Bar, which remain open.
Saint Louis Hop Shop, 2600 Cherokee Street, St. Louis, MO 63118:Â This craft beer store closed its doors due to a lack of resources, according to a post on social media.
Sonny’s Pizza Den, 12527 Bennington Place, St. Louis, MO 63146: Sonny’s Pizza Den in Maryland Heights closed in July after opening in 2024.
