For one weekend every year, is transformed into a music festival venue — and that weekend is almost here. WWTR will host the fourth annual as part of the on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7.

“The music festival adds another layer of excitement to an otherwise incredible event,� said Chris Blair, WWTR executive VP and general manager. “There’s absolutely zero downtime from the time a fan walks in the gate until the time they leave.�

Chart-topping country singer Jon Pardi will headline this year’s festival, along with Alabama-born rising star Ella Langley and Grammy-winning rapper Lil Jon. Also performing are more than 30 other acts from the St. Louis area and around the country, including Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers, Tim Dugger and former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher turned country crooner Adam Wainwright. Indeed, it’s this blend of well-known and homegrown talent that makes the Confluence Music Festival a special event.

“The Confluence Music Festival not only provides the best in national touring acts, but it also showcases more than 30 local and regional artists, as well as music programs from local schools,� said Blair. “It shows that the arts are thriving in our community.�

Admission to all the music festival concerts is included with your ticket to the day’s NASCAR racing activities. That means you can create your schedule each day, jumping to and from events for nonstop entertainment. Saturday’s racing schedule includes NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying events as well as the Nu Way 200 Sauced by Blues Hog NASCAR Xfinity Series feature race. Sunday’s Enjoy Illinois 300 marks the first time that WWTR will host a NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race (the event will be the second of the 10-race postseason championship, which culminates with the NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 2).

In addition to all the concerts and races held throughout the weekend, the Confluence Music Festival also showcases the St. Louis community in other fun and exciting ways. Interactive entertainment displays, a STEM education showcase, car displays, autograph sessions and live interviews with NASCAR drivers and St. Louis-area sports icons round out the weekend’s festivities.
